The wonders of the internet

I'm in South Sudan and I'm in the process of ordering something to be delivered to my better half in Norway from a craftsman in Florida.

Internet, how did we manage without it? Just asking...

Whats this then?

Simply put; it's my blog.

Less simply put; it's a simple way for me to communicate with family and friends while I'm in Sudan, working as an UNMO.

In addition to the actual blog, I've written a couple of pages on Sudan, UNMIS and what an UNMO is supposed to do. Also, I've put in a couple of news bars (courtesy of Google), a few handy links and a couple of other useful items on here.

You can also explore the archives - not only do they cover my time in Sudan, but also the training leading up to it.

Since my Tour of Duty finished in mid September 2011, this blog is now on hiatus until further notice; ie until my next deployment to South Sudan.
